The new VARIANT has everything you need to make light work of net wrapping. Thanks to the low height, it's easy to load the roll and you can keep sight of it at all times. The new braking system works independently of the size of roll. The new net system releases the net knife electronically.

When endurance matters: ROTO CUT Heavy Duty.

The Heavy Duty drive concept in the VARIANT 585 and 565 makes these machines ideal for tough working conditions in silage. This is because of the 8-mm-thick, four-star dual tines, the ultra-robust individual knife guard and knife bracket. Cutting quality therefore remains excellent even in silage.

PRO – the intelligent cutting floor.

A VARIANT equipped with the hydropneumatic PRO cutting floor not only removes blockages, it can also help avoid them in the first place. Capacity utilisation is displayed to the driver, depending on loads, so that they can select the optimum speed to prevent blockages occurring.

A true core competency: 
The rotor starts the baling process.

Only from CLAAS: the belts and the chopping rotor turn in opposite directions, allowing the immediate start of the baling process necessary to produce a compact core. The high-speed rotor reaches directly into the bale, forcing the process to start – for each and every bale, and in all conditions.
